    This whole water tax arguement is rather pointless until one throws in the
    tax amount, which has been done 2 cents per cubic meter.

    So does the 50% of people think that this is a rate at which they agree to
    have the water taxed?

    Yes, we should pay for petrol, but really $2/l is far too much. Half that amount is plenty.

    Which is 2c per 1000 litres of water which can add up to a lot when your talking millions of litres daily!
