There is little doubt that reform of this outdated legislation could
be easily done and would have the support of a majority of MPs on a
conscince vote. But National doesn't work on conscience - the oponion
of "The Leader" is more important than all the rest of the National
Party MPs, so we will have to wait for a new government later this
year to have the recommendations of a government-appointed Committee implemented.
Sad that National cannot act democratically, and that it doesn't care
about the recommendations of a committee they appointed . . .
