    a strange one from 1976.
city man J J Barrie - yes the guy who did the truly horrific 'song' no
charge moves to the country to relax.
unfortunately he promptly (through no fault of his own) runs over the
    grand daughter of a local.

said local curses him causing him to see a hooded figure on his land and
    to suffer seizures.

only a local woman versed in the occult can try to save him.
very slow moving, very amateurish in the locals taking parts in the
film, not really sure if i liked this one or not.

given that the film was made in 1976 i'd dare say it's someone else
    with the same name.

Richard Ramirez killed Peter Pan, too.

Haven't watched the Netflix series yet so I didn't know that.

It's pretty good. Other than about 10 mins of artsy dramatic recreations
of handguns firing and hammers swinging in slow motion, it's just a
straight down the line telling of the story.

I'll add it to my depressing-forty-year-old-crime-spree watch-list after THE RIPPER.

Both are excellent. I always get a craving for true crime at this time of year, it's just a shame that the most fascinating cases are often told by really shit writers.

I'm not really into it because I'm not as morbid as you lot, but I have been catching up a bit recently.

Only just saw THE JINX and was struck by how the obscenely wealthy, compulsively-lying serial-killer was more honest and less full of bullshit than our actual billionaire "leaders".
