Racist 70s TV falls foul of censors
Talking Pictures TV, a family-run digital channel watched by two million
people a week, has been reprimanded by Ofcom for declining to censor the
word “wog” from an acclaimed 1970s drama about the Second World War.

The vintage channel has previously been reprimanded for failing to
censor the racial slurs “sambo” from Scotland Yard, a crime drama made
in the 1950s, and “coon” from a 1970s talk show called Tell Me Another.
I wonder if they are going to show LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR?
