Just watched this remake of the old Cronenberg film.

Not bad actually, an aspiring fashion designer has an accident whilst
riding her moped. Hideously disfigured, her sister arranges for her to
visit a specialist clinic, which claims they can reconstruct her face by manipulating DNA (or something).

Her face is subsequently restored, but it seems there are side effects
as she keeps getting the urge to bite people, who go on to develop
rabies like symptoms and attack others.

Next thing, there's a full blown epidemic and the police are gunning
down infected. Leading to a highy amusing massacre at a fashion show,
where one of the models gets infected and turns on the others.

Borrowing the original films central premise and spinning it round a
brand new plot, I actually quite enjoyed this one. Whilst I doubt it
will enjoy the longevity of the original, it is still a decent enough
    horror flick worth checking out.

All films made now are designed to be completely disposable, like everything else in our fucked-up bland society.
