• Strangers Prey at Night

As I had nothing better to do, I watched Netflix pretty much all
afternoon and evening and as the belated sequel to Strangers popped up
in my news feed, decided to give it a go.

Better than the original, though that's not saying much. A family
staying the weekend at a relatives trailer in a remote trailer park find themselves targetted by a group of killers wearing strange masks.

I disliked the original, which reeked of stupidity as everytime the
couple managed to almost get away would put themselves back in danger,
rather than just heading for the trees and hiding in the woods.

This film was a great improvement, but there were several scenes where
they had ample opportunity to take out one of the killers, or escape and
they didn't. Which always irks me in these films. But it did redeem
itself at the end I thought.

some nice gore scenes, a couple of cheeky nods the Christine and even
Texas Chainsaw Massacre at the end which was fun and totally
innapropriate uses of the songs "Live it Up" by Mental as Anything and
Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart", which I'll never be able to
listen to in the same way again.

    Worth a watch!

While I recall watching the film, I don't recall my reaction to it. I
probably found it more meh than anything.
