Other than the ever-present undercurrent of MISERY, DOOM, DESPAIR and WRONGNESS, this has been a pretty fucking good year!
It's the first I can remember when I haven't had to put myself on suicide watch throughout the autumn (fucking hateful season). In fact, it has been
a revelation, a glimpse of normal mindedness, to feel quite positive at
this time of year. Those cunts who feel like this all the time don't know they are born.
2018 started as good as it can get - seeing Morrissey live for the first
time in years, standing among that crowd as we all sang 'Every Day is Like Sunday' was one of the best moments of my life, let alone the year. Then to be working a three day week throughout the only decent summer we've had in decades was just excellent good luck. You cannot beat being outside,
cunted, on a warm day, listening to great music. You just can't. And
finally, to be ending the year starting a job that I've been hoping for for the past 15 years...I almost feel tempted to post a smiley face.
There will be an epilogue of course, after a couple of weeks I'll know whether I can finally settle into something that resembles a normal, contended life or whether THIS IS NOT THE THING at all and I'm back to
square fucking one.
KILL YOURSELF.

Good for you. Does this mean we're going to see a cheerful, positive, non- sweary White Lady in 2019? Or will you just disappear like everyone else
does when things are going well for them?

Simon should be popping along at any moment to cover TWL's slack with
his Seasonal Affective Disorder. Xmas just doesn't seem right without
it. By the way - when, if ever, has bod been chipper for this long?

What's wrong with autumn? It's a great time of year.

Thought my ears were burning, yes I'm currently struggling through
December with a severe case of Winter Blues (and a severe hatred of
Xmas). Hence lack of FB posts recently.

AH, that's another postive outcome of 2018 I forgot to mention. Ditching FACEFUCK - I feel like I've had a tumour removed.

The amount of Christmassy stuff on there makes me want to puke at the
mo. I just find this time of year depressing and socially isolating.
Snowing in Knoxville, Tennessee!!
Staying in and watching "Bloodlust" and "Attack of the Puppet People", baby!!

You are never alone in your isolation.
That's all you spent, you cheap bastard!!
The best thing about Facebook is having the opportunity to be radicalised by right wing pages and posting the kind of content in secret groups thatprobably
gets those of us who participate placed on a government watch list.

I think we have more to fear from the far left, who are no better than
the right wing bigots they claim to despise, than those on the right. As
the far right are few in numbers and have no support amongst the wider population. Whereas the far left seem to enjoy broad support from the
media and politicians, yet behave no better (if not worse) and rather
than oppose totalitarianism, just seem to be in favour of a different sort.
Anyway, enough from my political soapbox.

Here in the US, the far right have HUGE numbers and are all too well represented in both our government and the media.
Wouldn't being to the *right* of Stalin in fact make you a fascist etc? I mean, it's not like the man was exactly a centrist.
