Julianne Hough opens up in the August 2014 issue of Redbook
about her dating history and reveals what may have caused the
demise of her three-year relationship with Ryan Seacrest.

�Every relationship, there was nothing wrong or bad, but there
was nothing right,� she said of previous romances. �I had one
foot out because I didn�t want to get hurt. And I didn�t say
what was on my mind because I didn�t want to ruffle any
feathers. I needed to be perfect.�

After the relationship ended the ex-�Dancing with the Stars�
professional took a vacation with her family and came to a
realization.

�I had this epiphany when my family went to a six-day seminar
[last November] about creating your own destiny,� she revealed.
�I learned so much about myself and why my relationships didn�t
work that by the end I was on a high. I was seeing a couple
people, but immediately [pretends to text guys], �You are nice,
but this is going nowhere.

Soon after a mutual pal set the 25-year-old �Footloose� star up
with hockey player Brooks Laich and the two have been an item
since December 2013.
