Carrying thirty-twos
A gamblers paradise
Beset by the wrecking crew
Sterile automatons
Walk thru a Benzo haze
Bets are placed on roulette tables
Saints and apostles
All the red and black squares
Jesus rises off the floor
Bleeding in the corridor
Satan arrives and kicks in the door
Bridges to the eyes
He leaps into Eldorado's whore
A shot to the head
Ends the killing floor
Jesus and Satan in sorrow walk away
Another martyr who demanded his pay
The next sunrise comes
Shining thru the diners door
The old one and new one sit
Watching a girl mopping the floor
Coffee and scrambled eggs for Satan
Coffee, pancakes and sausage, for Jesus
