Mr Johnson did not rule out putting London on lockdown to slow the spread
of the disease where it is currently at its most widespread.

“We’ve always said that we are going to do the right measures at the right time,” he said, when asked when the capital will be shut down.

“Actually I think a lot of people are taking a real heroic effort to
comply with the advice we’ve given but as I’ve said tonight, and in the past few days, we keep everything under continuous review and we will not hesitate in bringing forward further and faster measures where we think
that is necessary.”

### - yesterday schools were gonna remain open, today it's announced
they're all gonna be closed from friday for the foreseeable future?? (no
end date given!)

iow: things are moving very fast here now in london and changing on a
daily basis to keep up with the pace of this thing... london being by far
the worst affected here, and people still milling about in the streets regardless, from the way he was talking today + urging people to remain at
home it looks like they's gonna lock us down more firmly in the very near future (maybe even from friday when the schools close?) in order to curb
the steeply rising stats which are multiplying at an almost (but not yet
quite) exponential rate in the capital!

bracing/scary stuff indeed! but is still quite interesting to watch things literally changing around me nonetheless ;)

am ok! am just a dispassionate observer m'self; aloof & detached, taking
notes, still tryin' to understand what prolly can't be understood heh, and
so just doin' the best i can under the circumstances as usual, my humour/demeanor is/remains unaffected :)

imho, the vast-vast majority are all gonna survive this, the human race
will continue and stagger-on as per boring-usual prolly learning nada much
in the process from it, excepting maybe to jump on these things a little
bit quicker next time (humanity is a slow learner heh, slightly
retarded...)

if anything, i find it all rather stimulating/mildly-intriguing (because summat's actually happening for a change? and daily at that!) but am not personally affected by it - unless i get ill of course, and then will
prolly be singin' a different tune lol - plus can certainly see/note how everyone else is affected by it...

but for moi personally nada's changed ;)

(accept the worst of it matie, and then it's just a matter of waiting to
see how it all goes/what happens next and acting accordingly as
required/called upon to act... from my pov it's just a slightly more interesting soap-opera episode this week is all; they must've gotten-in
some new crap writers heh...)
