seems to be quite serious though with 2 stabbed including a cop and a shot

That is why a fully armed population is essential.
Your out in public, somebody goes nutty rogue, five or six
people come running and end it on the spot. I support law enforcement.
But they can't be everywhere all the time.

that what that really then means is arming the prisoners as well as the

imho 'all' guns should be publicly outlawed except for the army & the
police etc...

then they can't be stolen and used and/or resold + anyone caught with a
gun gets 25 years mandatory!

the war then shifts to those still armed which will all be only gangsters
and terrorists...

and if they gets shot then it's too bad, shouldn't have been holding a
gun...
