so a couple of years ago when i was up in southern oregon i ran across
this little cult in the woods. big new age writer guy has this little
group going on out in the weeds/big trees. I visited one afternoon to
see what his live rap is versus what he has been writing in his new agey books. Before i visited i already knew this was a cult set-up. No
illusion about it. First thing you notice with a cult and a cult leader
is this obeyance going on with the members. They are practically bending over backwards to please the boss. They don't do anything that
might make the big daddy unhappy. The judge/warden has complete control over them. You follow what this guy preaches, that's it. Do or get out.
Sort of like how cleargreen operates. You have some goon, say like what's his face there (hairy ears), escort you out the front door should you say something they don't like. Boom-boom, out ya go now, be on your way. Something like "our way or the hiway pal". I take the hiway everytime motherfucker. So back to our cult in the forest, you sit around the
big table with them while the big cahuena is doing his rap. What do you notice in the eyes of each follower? Yep, you guessed it. Big cult glazey eyes, the eyes give it away anytime. You know i could work for
the cult busters of america and go around examining IF a group is a cult or not. I don't even have to listen to their dogma. All i gots to do is
look 'em in the eye(s). The eyes don't lie. It's that shine that gives them away. I suppose this was how Hitler keep all his people in line with his cult bullshit that he invented. Just remember you don't have to
answer to anyone, not even god, you only have to be sincere with yourself. That's it. Don't try to lie to yourself, you can't fool yourself.
Maybe you haven't noticed, but just about any church, or corporation,
or major organization on earth is a lot like this. Unless a group has
been specifically set up to include it there's not ever a much room
for real debate or dissent. Try debating the CEO in a private company.
This is absolutely everywhere. Not just in cults. Heck, you do it
even in this group that was specifically created for discussion.
At least, you try (and fail).

surely you don't mean what it traditionally means? If I were you, I'd
be either (a) grinding my teeth; or (b) wondering what the fuck I did
to get Chris off side like that and what I can do to make amends.

That remark was 'abstract'. It'd be hard for anyone to understand,
but I have a feeling Slider caught it. It even has a further meaning
to me that no one could possibly know, beyond the abstract meaning
intended, because it was extracted from the end of a dream. :)
