• Re: korea meanwhile... Kim STILL developing nuclear site despite Trump

    From: david.j.worrell@gmail.com

That news is almost a week old.

The improvements were made according to a post on Pyongyang-
monitoring site 38 written by Frank V. Pabian, Joseph S.
    Bermudez Jr. and Jack Liu.

However, the post’s authors also said that the continued work
“should not be seen as having any relationship to North Korea’s
pledge to denuclearize,” adding that the North’s “nuclear cadre
can be expected to proceed with business as usual until specific
    orders are issued from Pyongyang.”

So, while I am well-aware that there is no serious timeline
or agreed upon set of steps to denuclearization, at the same
time, this isn't any serious indication that it won't occur.

However, it also certainly isn't any sign that it will occur. :)
And the US will not lift sanctions on North Korea until it does.

We're really still about right where we already were...

global one. DPRK was and maybe still is global. It can ignite WW3
(but Trump seems to have put that fire out).

    ### - ding-dong (again prolly under advise) is the one who put-out the
    fire ya fool!

can't just go wading-in and attack him 'now' can they?? the US advance
    stalled!

'not' how it's all portrayed in the media, of course!

how can you 'be' so blind?? (or rather: gullible heh...)

iran hits back with a threat to close the straits, and the US affirms it
will keep them open no matter what (yes chris because of the money) so
what do you think's gonna happen? iran's just gonna roll-over like
    ding-dong did??

Yep. Iran is now appealing to the World Court against the US
decision. They're not closing the straits because that would be
    suicide. Nor will they.

    ### - just reminding the US (and the world) that the 'option' remains!

don't push us too far! is the rather obvious message from such a threat to world stability!

'coz there ARE being pushed ya know! relentlessly!

if they even 'attempted to block those straits the price of oil would skyrocket! would hurt everyone!

it's all about the money as chris quite rightly said/observed :)

plus, isn't it about time again for some fake red-flag event or another
    to
    occur?

Nope. Communications are too dense now in the age of the internet, it
    would inevitably leak.

    ### - has to be something a bit 'different' to have any effect after all
the other ones, which is why i also suggested something a bit more real/emotive, something much bigger that will justify just about anything! (i.e., you were literally up in arms over a single downed plane, how might
you (and everyone else) then react if it was say a whole city?? kinda
    thing...)

    e.g...

look what they've done! look what they've done!

or maybe even for something far more... real?

damn, i shoulda bet on that one too? (cracking up...)

You've never negotiated or haven't done so much, have you?

    ### - debate is a confrontational form of negotiation :)

Nope. It's a well disciplined argument between presumed intellectual
equals according to hard rules. There is no confrontation in a formal
debate, the rules preclude such aggression. You should know - the
more rarified forms of debate evolved in England.

    ### - all kinds of debate! directly 'challenging' the opponents pov is >standard!

Of course. But there are strict rules and aggression is forbidden.

    Both

    ### - ain't ever gonna happen mate! 'both' sides lying through their

It will happen. What won't happen is war. What will then happen is

    ### - ding-dong (prolly upon russian advise) is just playing the long
game? trumpy-boy wont be around forever and policies change... besides, it >was the US initially threatening 'them' not the other way around? they
    just wanna be left alone!

No he would have liked to play the long game but Trump is a sudden
quick deal maker and he has no stomach or time for the long game and
DPRK realises the danger of trying to impose the long game on a short
tempered highly militarised opponent who could literally in 30 minutes
or less turn DPRK into a shiny glass parking lot (vitrification due to
    extreme temperatures :)

It will be a long path to the end game of denuclearisation but there
is no way, were I to be in Kim's shoes, that is, in the far weaker
bargaining parties shoes, that I would give up the one card I have
that's so far stopped the Yanks from invading - a few nuclear warheads >>>> and the means to produce them.

(think of all the things they tried to do to castro when 'he' was in
    their
way? well they've come a long way since then in taking people out/down)

He doesn't plan on going down. He plans on survival just like you and
    I. And it's a completely different situation to Cuba - Cuba never had
a massive, multi-national war involving superpowers and the UN which
lasted for over half a century, nor was Cuba bordered by China or
Russia. And Cuba housed nuclear missiles, they didn't have ownership
    or stewardship of them.

    ### - wasn't talking the country, but the man?

Believe me, the country *is* the man. And vice versa.

    don't deflect! :)

    ### - israel is still bombing iranian sites in syria, plus the west

Because no one gives a fuck. It's a local powderkeg there, not a
global one. DPRK was and maybe still is global. It can ignite WW3
(but Trump seems to have put that fire out).

    ### - ding-dong (again prolly under advise) is the one who put-out the

how can you 'be' so blind?? (or rather: gullible heh...)

The US can do what it wants, when it wants, as long as it isn't a
strike on Russia. The US can take out all of Iran and DPRK with one
Ohio class nuclear submarine - just one. Just ONE Ohio class sub has
more firepower now, and can reach any part of the world in 30 minutes
or so, than many thousand Hiroshimas.

    https://nationalinterest.org/blog/the-buzz/why-russia-china-fear-americas-ohio-class-submarines-19120

Just one of these monsters is enough to take out several countries in
half an hour. Or every major city in Russia in less time. And the US
has a lot of these beasts.

You don't fuck with a weapon like that, and that doesn't count the intercontinental bombers with nuclear gravity bombs, the cruise
missiles with nuclear warheads and so on.

And you say the US can't just go in and wipe this fucking idiot out?
    LOL.

The US could clear those straits in a day or two and irradiate the

the Jews then to clean up what's left :)
