• A question about lucid dreaming learning phase

Unless I'm mistaken, the text book learning phase for a successful
career in realising you're in the dreamstate while you are dreaming
involves being artificially woken repetitively throughout the night.

Now I've been happily (mostly) married for the last 44 years. We
still sleep in the same bed (you can see where I'm going here surely).
If I woke my missus up with an alarm or somesuch every half hour or so
each night, I'd be a DEAD MAN!

So, in order to pursue a career as a lucid dreamer, it seems one needs
to be single or at least do the learning phase in a place secluded
from loved ones who are trying to get decent sleep.

    Would this be true?

    ### - fortunately thang, 'all' of that 'usual' DILDo-crap we've been
fucking ourselves with, is made completely redundant with WILDs! :)

tada! (slider takes a modest-enough bow); s'ok folks, don't clap, just
    throw money heh)

setting alarms, reality checks, supplements, fancy headgear, being single/worrying about being slain by yer missus (haha) et al; are all just suddenly 'gone' when WILDs are brought into the frame & formula! - bye-bye
ALL those 'previous' diff-i-culties involved that has typically made lucid dreaming into some kinda strange, magical/mystical-cult affair, one in
which anybody can say just about anything they like about it and no one
    can really say any different!

i.e., with WILDs: you don't need to 'wait' until bedtime! :)

WILDs are something we can seemingly/apparently do: while we're AWAKE!

we've just never realised that we could??

mainly because no one ever told us about it directly!

oh for sure there were tons of hints & clues lying around just about everywhere, albeit disguised under one heading or another, so one's ever
really picked up on 'em collectively! consequently whole areas considered
to be specific fields in their own right have been acknowledged but never linked together as all being related to the same originating cause, and
this mainly because we've haven't had any direct access to it! access to
that 'something' we've been hitherto calling our 'imagination' - iow: The
    Mind! :)

if the mind is a container/can, and DILDs are 'indirect' access to & into
it, then WILDs are the 'direct' access; the 'can-opener' so to speak...

iow: we've finally hacked our own brains! ;)

(in my best homer simpson voice, his fingers waggling in anticipation):
ooooh what does 'that' button do i wonder?? probably best not to press it
yet until we find out more about this new control panel tho' eh? yeah, be smart, always best to do the right thing mmmmuughhhhhdrool... D'OH! :D

hmm, i indeed wonder-indeed what we'll FIND in there! eh? (accompanied by
the crashing sounds of homer then falling down a long flight of stairs:
    D'oh! D'oh! D'oh! D'oh! D'oh! i shouldn't wonder HAH!)

well think of it this way: it could
rub off on her. You both have assemblage
points that are probably very closely aligned.
She might start having lucid dreams too.
