    ### - last 40 minutes of that movie is great hehehe...

particularly the scene on the rooftop where tech-support-dude asks him to make up his mind as a panel of peeps are watching/waiting for his
decision; and cruise slowly turns to the camera and ya get the feeling
like you're looking in on him as one of that same panel of watchers? you
can kinda see him 'in' there?? (unearthly feeling as the perspective changes/reverses i mean...)

not bad for a boy who has washed his head with Scientology eh?
you would almost believe his acting.

    ### - and which 'might' just explain why they got-shot of him perhaps?

sirhan sirhan, that little greasebag, pops a .22 cap into the next
president. Guns just seem to show up anywhere those/these days.

(there's no mystery to the kennedy killings afaic; ya can't cross mobsters the way he did and just nada happens?? riiiight... i gots ya kennedy
    mystery right here pallies!)

all those shooters are whacked. Looking to do something so people
will remember them for 500 years or so. I say fuck those aholes.

    ### - ya set all the rules & regs to the game (e.g., capitalism) and lock them in, and then as the game plays ya slightly tweak 'em here and there
to allow for the gathering errors that inevitably arise, until ya's reach
a point where no amount of mild tweaking suffices to keep it all going so huge corrections/resets become an ever-increasing + regular event (ww1 +
ww2 for example) until basically everyone's walking a financial tightrope that includes less & less wriggle room, and until some back-room jerk in america loses nearly a billion dollars trying to correct his personal overnight error in balancing the books; a sum which just can't now BE lost
or swallowed (or wont be swallowed) whereon a wave of austerity sweeps the globe as the 'correction' spreads throughout the system! it's a nightmare alright! and it just gets worse & worse! plus a reset at this time (ww3) would devastate the world beyond all recognition! now it really IS a nightmare! the books HAVE to be balanced! but how?? a totally NEW system
is required but how to implement it??

    forgive ALL debt???

riiiight... can just see 'em doing THAT innit huh! :)

pay your taxes, be a good boy, don't start trouble,
be thankful they let you stay alive here on this planet.
breathing oxygen here boss, thank you.

    ### - can we 'step-up' to another 'mode' of perceiving ourselves & the
    world?

the trouble is that we are seeing the world through our own distorted
lens of our self. we tend to get in the way of things.

most don't know anything different. Therein is the problem.
A severe wake-up call is coming. Be ready freddy .

was watching Vanila Sky last night, caught
the last half of the movie (which is the best part).

also i watched CNN special called The Sixties.
son of a bitch, i think Bob kennedy could have
saved our asses. so fuckers, we really are up
against the wall now huh? Spiro Agnew: "we are
going to stop this 'change' stuff. I guess things
were changing too fast for the future felon.
And Tricky Dick? Loopy as fuck. Well we can't
go back can we? Maybe it's all been one big nightmare.
I think we are used to falling asleep and staying asleep.
Why wake up? No wonder it's so hard to WILD without
hitting some hypnagogia. now consider this slider:
we are born into this world asleep. you're laying in
the oven there for 9 months or so and all of the sudden
it's 'show time'. up and at em. ok back to sleep.
it's natural (as it seems) to fall back asleep. Nature
has built in this default mode on us. It is alot to
overcome but it looks like it can be done.

    ### - can we 'step-up' to another 'mode' of perceiving ourselves & the
    world?

    a bigger/wider, more inclusive one?

we surely can; for if 'one' person can learn to play the piano then
    everyone can?

so ok, not everyone might play it as good as a concert pianist might,
there's always natural talent to be considered too, but everyone could
surely + certainly learn to play a few good tunes! :)

after all, we HAVE all kinda 'stepped-up' to this current shit system
haven't we? ok not everyone's great at it, but everyone kinda/sorta
fits-in, or at least tries to... the majority do anyway!

so why not and even better + altogether 'fairer' system then?

one not so completely 'materially' based?

one that perhaps includes aspects of perception that pertains more to who
& what we perhaps all really are when such 'feats' of perception are taken
    into consideration?

we 'know' the material world side of things all too well, but which on its
own as a pursuit per se is ostensibly insane, and/or eventually leads to all-out madness!

the australian aborigines went the completely opposite way; they ignored developing the more material side of things and instead emphasised their malleable perception, thus when we westerners turned up there they didn't
seem to have done much with the place? (hah!)

so perhaps then a little of both?

there IS a material side to life (we 'have' to feed ourselves!) but
there's also another side to things: aspects of perception that we haven't really considered as being viable!

if there ever 'was' a knowledge of all this we've apparently lost it!

but that doesn't mean we can't get some of it back?

enough, perhaps, to lend some 'sanity' (balance) to our our more material pursuits??

meanwhile; the world is about as materially-minded as it's possible to be!

they DON'T know anything else! it don't get any darker than this??

but when you're right at the bottom of the pit ANY movement is a movement
    up?

they've gots a long-long way to go, and they might not even make it!?

it's the dark night of the soul! it's evolve or die!

(oi! was that a tiny glimmer of light i just saw over there or what?? nah, probably not, ok everyone get back to killing, slashing and maiming lol...
    ok!)

    :)

The Arts and the Sciences both did all right under Obama's tenure -
as well as they could have done, given a Republican congress.

"Obama Understood the Power of Art.
And He Wanted You to Get It, Too."
    http://tinyurl.com/gprf2bn

Arts and Sciences are both getting trashed under Trumpsky.

"Trump federal budget 2018: Massive cuts to the arts, science,
    and the poor"
    http://tinyurl.com/yajhp4a2

It could get worse, too. Trump's 2019 proposed budget calls for
nearly *eliminating* federal funding for the arts. He won't get that -
not even from the damn Republican Neanderthals - but he's trying.

Just one more reason why I have no respect at all for Trump.
