No, he never identified himself or sent any more messages.

He didn't hack *my* system and I don't think any sysops would be filing police reports back then. We weren't like that.

It's a DSZ "feature" ("re" is short for "restricted"). Without the "re" option to [F/G]DSZ, it allows the sender to specify the target file path which is a clear security problem.

Don't use *DSZ.

Well some Sysops did back when I was on dialup days. Remember the ANSI Message Bomb? That was a major virus back then. Wiped out a whole BBS.
