    I have 5 jolly ranchers in my mouth

    Ask them to form an orderly queue and take turns instead of all going in at once.

    Can one embed an HTML command, such as a sound file, so that it plays
    when the BBS loads??

    I have the sound effect of a thunder clap, that's on my homepage, that
    I'd like to have for the BBS when the website loads. If nothing else, it
    might startle the user to check to see if they just took a lightning
    hit. <G>

    Seriously, if there's a threat of thunderstorms, I'm offline. Being a
    2 time lightning strike survivor myself, and hearing too many horror
    stories of fried systems (even with the top of the line surge
    protection), that I'm not going to press my luck.

    Also, I did get the "Connect Via Telnet" option working from your
    website interface...but I haven't had the chance to check the links of
    the external doors in the GAMES link after logon. I'm preparing for
    outpatient surgery in early February...so, work on the BBS is going to
    be delayed a bit.

    when the BBS loads??

    At the moment there isn't a great way to do something like this for *every* page on your site. I'll add an option soon that will allow you to load some custom HTML at the beginning or end of every page.

    I would caution that a lot of users find autoplaying audio/video annoying, unless they're visiting a page specifically to watch/listen to something (linking to a youtube video, etc.).

    It would be easy enough to add this just to your home page, pages/000-home.xjs:

    <audio autoplay hidden>
    <source src="thunder.mp3" type="audio/mpeg">
    </audio>

    The above might work if you dump it into the bottom of that file, and had a "thunder.mp3" in your website's document root.

    That's what I needed...thanks. Would I need a "loop=1" command with
    it??

    I haven't tried, but I think <audio autoplay loop hidden> would be enough.

    The audio itself is no more than 20 seconds...it stops after one run,

    Well, it worked the first time earlier today, but when I tried it a
    bit ago, nothing happened.
