DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK
----------------------
At 100 AM CHST...1500 UTC...the center of Tropical Storm 06W was
located near Latitude 14.6 degrees North and Longitude 141.2 degrees East...moving west-northwest at 12 mph. Tropical Storm 06W will turn
to a northwest track today before heading to the north-northwest
tonight and Thursday with a decrease in forward speed. By Friday
evening, 06W should be moving north well west of Iwo To Island.

Maximum sustained winds remain at 40 mph. Slow intensification is
expected through Friday, when 06W may briefly be a typhoon.

Tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 65 miles northeast of
the center, and up to 20 miles elsewhere.
