At 1800 UTC a Tropical Low was centred within 20 nautical miles of
latitude seventeen decimal three south (17.3S)
longitude one hundred and forty eight decimal zero east (148.0E)
Recent movement : slow moving
Maximum winds : 35 knots
Central pressure: 995 hPa
The low is expected to develop into a tropical cyclone in the next 24 to 36 hours.
