Areas affected...southern Missouri into Arkansas and vicinity
Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 151...
Valid 022042Z - 022245Z
The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 151
continues.
SUMMARY...Severe risk continues across WW 151.
DISCUSSION...Latest radar loop continues to depict convection that
remains somewhat slow to organize/intensify thus far, though a few
severe cells have been observed -- including a report of
golf-ball-sized hail from an earlier storm in Newton/Boone counties.
Having said that, continued heating/destabilization across the area
this afternoon will support potential for additional convective
development. This combined with some increase in flow expected atop
the area suggests a continuation of wind/hail risk in/near the WW
area over the next several hours.
