    The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 255
    continues.

    SUMMARY...A very isolated large hail and damaging wind threat
    persists across WW 255. A tornado also remains possible in the short
    term in/near Logan County, Nebraska.

    DISCUSSION...A long-lived supercell with a history of producing
    large hail up to 2.75 inches in diameter has remained nearly
    stationary over Logan County, NE over the past couple of hours. This
    storm has also produced multiple funnel clouds. 00Z sounding from
    LBF shows a very unstable airmass, with MLCAPE around 3000 J/kg, and
    a veering wind profile through mid levels. A southerly low-level jet
    of 30-35 kt should help maintain ongoing convection, and some
    additional isolated thunderstorms have recently formed in northern
    Lincoln County, NE. Very isolated instances of large hail and
    damaging winds remain possible this evening across WW 255. A tornado
    or two may also occur through about 03Z with any supercell given
    elongated low-level hodographs and effective SRH around 250-350
    m2/s2 owing to the strengthening low-level jet. Beyond 03Z, storm
    evolution remains unclear, with some potential for upscale growth
    into a small cluster moving southeastward into the greatest
    instability still possible.
