Kind of, but it has two barbecue icons - the
aforementioned Vencil Mares and Wayne Mueller (grandson
of Louie Mueller). I was getting hungry and looked it
up - one can get there from Austin with one train at 9:30
daily with a return train at 5:30 in the evening, so it might
be possible for me to hit both barbecue places in one day.
To get to Snow's, the Texas Monthly's choice for best BBQ in
the world and the New Yorker's choice for best Texas BBQ in
the world (this is Tootsie Tomanetz's place) is quite a bit
tougher. One takes the Elgin bus from Austin at 6:20 pm and
then walks 7 hours from there. I took a chartered bus there
once, and it was in fact worth it. I didn't meet Wayne (did buy
from his son, though) but have met the aforementioned other two.

That might be fun, but I think most of the rest of us
have seen Wegmans before.

We'll see if we can change your opinion at all.

Wonder how that would have gone over.

M's note - this looks like a lot of pepper, but
when I tasted it, I found the sauce exceedingly
but not too peppery.
