Two kinds of instant cocoa. Van Houten bistro style
actually tastes like chocolate, with nice bittersweet
notes. You're supposed to make it with milk, but I used
mostly water with just a splash of milk at the end. On
    the other hand, Poulain ligne gourmande (milk included;
only 200 Cal per serving), tastes like sugar with a little
Hersheyesque stale milk and dubious cocoa dissolved in it.
    Not to be repeated.

Two more kinds of instant cocoa. Nestle's rich chocolate,
which has strong artificial vanilla? notes making for a
cloying aroma. Unlike other previous samples from this
same brand, the old milk taste is not prominent, for which
I was thankful. Way too sweet, not very chocolaty, both of
which were remedied by a shot of Evan Williams Bourbon.
Ghirardelli Premium Indulgence - still dark and rich-looking
and with a pleasant chocolaty aroma. Rich on the tongue, not
too milky. Not too sweet; go for this every time.

Dibella caramello latte biscotti - authentic texture,
moderately crisp but with a quick and fine crumbing. Aroma
of caramel and sort of coffee. Not too sweet despite the
smell. Well balanced flavor. I'd almost buy these.

Byrd's maple wafers - these are now co-branded with the
United label. They seem pretty much the same as before,
mini-Boredauxlike crunchy brown sugar cookies with an
eggy note and a fake maple kick, despite the ingredientes
listing maple syrup and natural flavors and nothing
artificial. Not as good as the Biscoffs that American and
Delta serve, but as good as economy class deserves, on
    United anyway.

Nakd Berry Delight - raw dates, cashews, raisins, with
3% raspberries and natural flavors "smooshed together."
Not bad, distinct raspberry notes floating on a fig and
raisin base. Pretty sweet but not cloying. Texture sticky,
like a somewhat solidified inside of a fig bar.

Soyjoy energy bars - described as Two types of apples, each with
its own distinctive flavor, are combined in a soft-textured bar
with the sweet and sour tang of apples. The ingredients are
soy flour (Japan-processed, non genetically modified), processed
pineapple, processed apple, margarine, eggs, sugar, almond,
non-digestible dextrin, agave syrup, salt, fragrance. The bar was
less awful than it sounds, the texture doughy but artfully done
so nobody would feel like they would die from it. Modestly sweet,
with a strong apple candy flavor. Bits of pineapple (the two
types of apple must be apple and pineapple). Beany aftertaste
wasn't too bad. It did hit the pit of my stomach pretty hard.

I used the two below products on an American Airlines
cheeseburger, which was kind of bad until I added a 50/50
mixture of these. Which made the sandwich almost awesome.
There was also a packet of the same brand's mustard on
offer, but I didn't take it.

Sir Kensington chipotle mayonnaise - excellent flavor,
a bit of heat. Ingredients list was moderately pure.
    A surprisingly fine product.

Sir Kensington ketchup - a little coarser in texture
than normal ketchup, and that's not a bad thing. A lot
more complex than the regular brands I've had. I hope
this stuff takes over the market. This went well on
Miss Vickie's sea salt potato chips, which in a strange
fit of good sense were very small, ideal for inclusion
in an airplane meal. The chips were not stale, an
improvement from the ones I've had before.
