Not really. I saw babka too, but the house is full of baked goods
    so
    I passed on that too.

There's a limit on how much a couple of people can eat... :)

Unless one is a teenaged male; I haven't found that upper limit yet.

Ah... but I don't mind tasting the eggs... ;)

I mind smelling them cook. Puts me off eating them.

I don't mind smelling them, either.... but I can see how that wouldn't
help you like them much... :)

Sends me the other way, in fact.

At least it's a true sign of spring.... (G)

So is snow in April, at least around here.

This year, we're having it too... but I see it more as winter trying to
hang on... the daffodils popping up are more of a sign of spring... :)

I have crocuses blooming; things should really pop out at the end of the
week. It's supposed to hit 60.

I'd transfered in from a school that had 100, maybe 150 students all

People tend to bring back coffee instead.
That wouldn't do me any good....
Are you more the vanilla extract type?
    That, or chocolate.... :)

People tend to bring back vanilla.

Ah, so the choice is coffee or vanilla...? Yup, I'll take the
    vanilla... :)

They also bring back larimar, but you can't eat that. It's the stone of
    the Dominican.

luncheon, enough to fill two long tables...
We were around 250; it would be considered huge now, but it wasn't then.

I'd transfered in from a school that had 100, maybe 150 students all
told, from 7th grade to 12th.... So it really seemed huge to me... but
my classmates apparently also considered it fairly large....

Meanwhile, the next town over had barely 100 in a class.

Cool. I found a page on Facebook that links up former graduates
    from
my high school and others who lived in town. Lots of them are from
    the 60s and 70s.

I suppose that's a fairly useful service... especially as the classes
age, and it becomes harder to track people down...

    People croak, you mean.

wasn't consumed immediately. She and my sister went out to Ruby Tuesday today for lunch, with my niece. I wasn't home from church
    yet;
I got a sandwich and yogurt.:-)

Did they bring you home any leftovers...? Or wouldn't you have wanted
    them anyway...?

Nope, and maybe but that wasn't an option apparently.

1890s ...dunno, but he was welcome to it.
Made him happy to get it, made you happy to sell it... Never know
what someone might be interested in... Maybe he spent time here
in the States at some point... :)
He might also be a collector of anything with the word Lebanon
    on it.
Possible... :) You might want to try to sell him some Lebanon bologna....? (G)

Odds are it wouldn't survive the trip, and if it's made with pork
wouldn't be edible even if it did.

Not sure what it's made of... I thought there was at least some beef in
it... and I'm thinking it's more of a sausage than your typical bologna
as well... But I suppose that is less likely of a choice for the
    collection... ;)

It's the way the game is played....
It does make me wonder who'd sign a petition for a jailbird....
