My graduating class was huge... around 350... a lot of them scattered
also, but a significant number stayed around... we had 18 of us at the luncheon, enough to fill two long tables...
I only was at that school for one year, transfering in from out of
state, so I didn't really get to know many of my classmates... I've met
more in the years following as I went to reunions, official and
informal... and then served on the reunion committees for the 40th, 45th
and 50th... One gal I met for the first time when we both were on the

baby sister, and the two of them had clicked as best friends... now she refers to me as her "sister", since MG and I incorporated her into our family doings... ;) She was there at the luncheon... :)
The luncheon was at a place I'd never been to (and I had quite the time trying to find it!)... turned out to be a family restaurant... I had
what was called Roc City Beef, a warm roast beef sandwich on a ciabatta roll, with spinach leaves, red peppers (like large pimento strips) and melted provolone cheese... with a dill pickle slice and a cup of carrot sticks... It was rather tasty, and quite sufficiently filling... :) I noticed that quite a few were packing up half or more of theirs to take home... :) Everything I saw come out looked pretty good, too... :)

Possible... :) You might want to try to sell him some Lebanon bologna....? (G)Not sure what it's made of... I thought there was at least some beef in it... and I'm thinking it's more of a sausage than your typical bologna
Odds are it wouldn't survive the trip, and if it's made with pork wouldn't be edible even if it did.
as well... But I suppose that is less likely of a choice for the collection... ;)
I forget what's all in it. It's a bit of a sour sausage, closer to
summer sausage than a bologna.
That, too... :)It's the way the game is played....Their buddies....? and maybe some softhearted souls.... ;)
It does make me wonder who'd sign a petition for a jailbird....
Or softheaded ones?
Or given the way CT politics often works, someone who's been paid off
in one form or another.

I'd like to think that at least our local politics has little or none of that.... ;)

At least it's beef. Pork sausage to the Middle East is begging for trouble.

More like in the feeding trough around here. Mine is generally buried
in a computer or a reference book. Or a pile of quilt fabric.

A local deli owned by a Turkish guy serves Kosher-style food, oddly,
but doesn't have either beef or pork on the menu as far as I know.
They do have a gyro on the menu, but I've never ordered one.

Loose beads work too.

Would that be lamb meat, probably...?

It gets fairly regular use... if not the level it used to get when I was still teaching... :)

I'd guess likely the latter... unless you are there regularly... ;)

Always something.... I'm all over achy after a week with extended
family at Selkirk Shores SP for our annual camping week... Too much
walking, too much sitting on uncomfortable benches for too long... etc, etc... But it was good family time... :)

Only occasionally on Sundays. It might be a weekday lunch item, or
just there because the boss says so.

I'd guess the former rather than the latter... Probably there just
aren't as many people coming in on a Sunday... or they come in
that you don't... ;)

Certainly isn't for sissies.... Probably just as well that the
sore areas take turns at being overly vociferous... ;)
