When people a decade younger start falling off
the branch, one starts to worry. Of course she
(as does Lilli) puts on a brave face mostly

Can't really do much else... I'm getting to an age now that I
understand mine and Richard's grandparents a lot better.... both in the
looking back to a simpler time, and in feeling the pinches of losing
friends and family, some of which are younger.... and increasingly so,
as one continues to age....

I just got a notice of a friend passing, but she
had an excuse - she was 85, and her husband went
a year or two ago. But things do weigh heavy.
