I guess so.... sigh... Maybe some day we'll come across Seville orange
    marmalade somewhere....

If you do - hang on to your wallet. Just looked at Amazon. The least pricey example was a "bulk buy" (3 containers) @ 30c/oz to a Trappist (Brand) All-Natural @ $1.19/oz.

I'd not likely buy on Amazon anyway.... just look around to see if any place carried it....

I buy things on Amazon which are unobtanium locally. I also shop their
site when buying locally at places which offer "price matching". Bv)=

You can, of course, always make your own. Bv)=

Presuming that one can find Seville oranges in the first place.... :)

Errrrmmmm ... that "bulk buy" item I mentioned above - is actually 3 big
cans of Seville Orange peel - shredded and prepped, ready to add sugar
    and water.

    Title: Lime Marmalade
    Categories: Five, Citrus, Condiments, Spreads
    Yield: 5 half-pints

4 c Thin sliced limes; halved,
    - seeded (8 medium)
    7 1/4 c Water
    7 c Sugar
    2 Drops green food colouring
    8 Drops yellow food colouring

Combine lime slices and water in an 8 quart saucepan.

Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat and simmer,
uncovered for 45 minutes to an hour or until peels are
very soft. Measure cooked fruit and liquid in a heatproof
measuring cup. For every cup of fruit and liquid add one
cup of sugar. Stir in food coloring if desired. Bring to a
boil and cook to jelly stage with a candy thermometer.

Stir occasionally. Skim off foam if necessary. Immediately
fill hot sterilized 1/2 pint jars, leaving 1/4" head
space. Wipe jar tops and threads clean. Place hot lids on
hot jars and apply screwbands. Process 5 minutes in a
    boiling water bath.

    Yield 5 1/2 pints.

NOTES: Process jams and jellies in boiling water
canner. Parafin and older canning methods are not
considered safe. (by some A.R. folks - UDD)

Oh... I thought you had said that was a bulk buy of the ready-made marmalade.... The Seville Orange marmalade I just picked up at Trader
Joes (on my exploratory mission to see if they actually did have it), is
made from the peel and the juice of the oranges... Is that peel packed
    in its own juice...?

I shop online regularly. I don't always buy there. It's a great tool for sorting through options and doing comparo shops.

My Amazon Prime membership is worth what I pay for it just in the Kindle Unlimited part. More books than I'll ever be able to read. And the free
two-day shipping if I do buy something.

I went back to Amazon and researched the item/description and I still
don't know. I assume not since it's not listed - but, then, O.J. isn't necessary to make marmaduke. Peels, pectin (may not be needed) water
    and sugar. Food colouring optional.

Title: Apple Grilled Pork Chop w/Red Onion Marmalade
Categories: Tv-food, Pork, Fruit, Sauces, Wine
    Yield: 6 Servings

    6 Center cut pork chops

    MMMMM------------------------------BRINE-----------------------------------
    1 ga Apple cider
    2 1/2 c Kosher salt
    15 Juniper berries; crushed
    1/2 bn Rosemary
    1 1/2 c Sugar

    MMMMM-----------------------RED ONION MARMALADE----------------------------
3 tb Extra virgin olive oil
4 lb Red onions; thin sliced
    - (10 cups)
    1 tb Brown sugar
    Salt & white pepper
    3/4 c Red wine vinegar
    1/2 c Grenadine
    1 1/4 c Red wine

    Recipe courtesy of The Greenbrier

Heat olive oil in a large heavy-bottomed saucepan and
add the onions. Cook over medium heat until they begin
to soften, about 10 minutes, then add the brown sugar
and stir to coat. Season with salt and pepper. Continue
cooking over medium heat, stirring frequently, until
the onions are golden brown, another 10 to 15 minutes.
Add the vinegar and grenadine and cook until it has
completely evaporated, then add the red wine and repeat
the process, stirring the onions frequently to prevent
sticking and burning. When the red wine has evaporated,
taste and correct the seasoning. Remove from the heat
    and keep warm.

Marmalade may be made up to 2 days ahead.

FOR THE BRINE: Combine apple cider, kosher salt, juniper
berries, rosemary and sugar. Add pork chops and marinate
in brine for 40 minutes, refrigerated. Remove chops from
    the marinade and pat dry.

FOR THE CHOPS: Cook on an open grill for approximately
    10 minutes, turning as needed.

    Yield: 12 portions

As an example - my housemate's Cadillac DeVille became an expensive

    I found him a nice replacement .... a '95 Volvo 850 and pretty much
chivvied him into buying it. So, thinks I, I'll get him a Haynes manual
for the darned thing. My company didn't have one anywhere in the system.
Nor did Car Quest, Advance Auto, or NAPA. Checked on-line with Summit,
    J. C. Whitney, Rock Auto, etc. No luck. Clicked over to Amazon - and
there it was. It was delivered yesterday whilst Dennis was picking up
    his new (to him) ride.

That worked out well for you... Richard tends to go to Ebay rather than Amazon... he has enough sense to filter out the ridiculously-priced
things, and since he's usually looking for used items, generally has
good luck finding them... For what he's looking for, he finds that
Amazon is almost always more expensive for the same thing....
