Leonore and I were talking about one time she made a
Pavlova and had the audacity to use a ready-made meringue
to save effort (she was working a responsible job and
volunteering with the blind society in her copious spare
time), and he ripped her up one side and down the other
for having used a cheat, all the time stuffing his gob
with the food. He doesn't seem to like me, she said, and I
pointed out that he doesn't seem to like anybody.

Of course he prefers the society of menfolk, but he
tolerated Benita and Lilli well enough and took a
positive shine to Carol Bryant.

Kevin bought an orange to add to the raw materials for his
prison wine, which is brewing secretly in his room.

today, plus three boxes of cheap stuff as reinforcement.

I should send him my Pruno recipes (but not through this forum. I
have stayed in touch with all three of those characters.)

He likely doesn't need a Pruno recipe.

While looking up rum and grenadine recipes I came across this item

I remember this. There's something about the
combination of alcohol and excessive sugar that
causes a nausea that some mistake for being high.

1 part 43 Liqueur
1 part Milk
2 parts Orange Juice

Mix and serve with ice.

Wonderful. If you like sweet, not too
strong drinks, this is the one.
