Feel like you're on a roller coaster? Even with taking it easy the
knee is a pain at night. Not as much as if I were on my feet a lot, but enough to let me know it's there. But, they say you have to finish the series of shots before making an evaluation of the benefit.

I often get mild knee pain at night, enough to wake me up. My doctor
just recommended that I switch from regular (generic) tylenol to what
BJs labels as extended for arthritus. They are supposed to last for
eight hours, and so far they seem to be working for me most nights. You
might ask your doctor about them.

    Hi Dale,

Feel like you're on a roller coaster? Even with taking it easy the
knee is a pain at night. Not as much as if I were on my feet a lot, but enough to let me know it's there. But, they say you have to finish the series of shots before making an evaluation of the benefit.

Most of the time my problem is getting to sleep initially. Once the pain
meds kick in, I'm ok but some nights, especially following long days on
the feet, the meds take lomger to reach an effective level.

just recommended that I switch from regular (generic) tylenol to what
BJs labels as extended for arthritus. They are supposed to last for
eight hours, and so far they seem to be working for me most nights.

I'm already taking Celebrex and Tramadol at night, don't know what else
could be safely added. I'll be seeing my doctor in about 6 weeks and
will give him an update on the knee/discuss what else might be helpful
    for pain meds.
