When the water dries up, so does the city. Last time I was there in 2004,
it was 104F at 2 AM. Not the most pleasant.
'04 was one of the few years this century when
I didn't go to Vegas. My friend Benita and I
did go in the end of June 2003, though, and it
was pretty warm. Luckily, we were on the Strip,
and all the buildings were air conditioned.
Don't worry about the recipe, we'll just put
it on your tab.
As seen on a local pharmacy's road sign:
"A DUCK CAME IN AND ASKED FOR CHAPSTICK. HE THEN ASKED TO PUT IT ON HIS BILL."
[eyes glaze over]
So this mushroom walks into a bar, and the bartender
says, we don't serve your type here. And the mushroom
goes, why not? I'm a fungi.
