Lilli says she's waiting for the go-ahead from herProbably a wise idea.... as long as there are other drivers to pick up
regular doc, which may not be for a while because
of her blood pressure. Meanwhile she's avoiding
driving in inadequate light and driving in
hyperadequate light and stuff like that.
the slack.... Is her blood pressure coming under control...?
There are a couple such, but they're inconvenient
or have other defects. Such as living an hour away
and/or talking from the driver's seat with both
hands gesturing and away from the wheel, and/or
being almost as blind as me. Don't know about the
second issue.
It's a rather odd designation in the first place.True, it is odd... I'm not sure I have a clue where I-77 or 79 are...
If it followed the interstate standard, it would be
hugging the Jersey shore and on into Delaware.
Logically it should be an extension of I-77 or 79.
I-76 is the PA turnpike, I-78 is north of that, running essentially East-West... I-80 crosses central PA, also east-west....
The proximity of 76 and 77 is a coincidence,
the even numbers being east-west and the odd
being north-south. By convention, there is a
progression of numbers from west to east and
from south to north, with 99 being an exception
enacted by Congress as sponsored by some self-
important halfwit or other.
I didn't see anything in the Lewisburg to Selinsgrove section, but then that is south of Williamsport, and I-99 leaves Rt 15 in WilliamsportThey're working on some parts... but I agree that the corridor along the river after Selinsgrove, down to Harrisburg, would have some major

problems with making it interstate-ish... The four-lane divided highway
with various accesses is probably the best they could do... it's pretty
nice to drive for most of it now... :)
There's a lot of 4-lane stuff that doesn't qualify,
and one or two cases of road that is deemed to be
qualify but doesn't by the rules.

some Peachy Paterno ice cream, that before the downfall
of that icon (whom I disliked, though the confection
named after him was pretty good).
Neither. After weathering some hard times, the
flavor continues to this day. The reason for my
dislike is not Paterno's stonewalling in favor of
a child molestor (which people suspected but could
not prove) but his winner-takes-all Vince
Lombardiish attitude (winning isn't everything,
it's the only thing, that kind of nonsense).

not quite like the stereotypical male, I don't hesitate
to stop and ask for directions (which is easier for
someone on foot than in a car). In the southern

There are, some of them actually with the
southern hemisphere up top. No such resides in
my head, however.

stand firm...
I was moderately sure that that concession
wouldn't kill me, and if it maimed me, I could
be made mostly whole by litigation.
