So very soft, flavoured rice then.
I just made another meatloaf. With ground lamb this time, so I went
with Middle Eastern seasonings. The starchy filler was cracked wheat soaked in an equal amount of boiling hot water to soften it, the
binders, an egg and a dollop of tomato sauce, and the seasonings
minced onion, finely chopped leeks, mint leaves and Za'atar (a blend
of thyme, marjoram and oregano). I was pleased with the outcome.
