Hmmm.... not likely to truly be sauteing, then... ;)
Wilting, sweating, stewing; not sauteing except by
a long leap of the imagination.
Ok, I'll try to remember that.... :)

Sauteing has acquired the most inaccurate uses
    over the years.

When I was in school, it was the new thing, and pushed by
a girlfriend I actually bought a yogurt maker. I found it
sickening then as now. That was before those odious ads
where they filmed 100-year-olds climbing mountains and
milking yaks all under the influence of yogurt. I think it
was Dannon that was responsible for that.
Ads can be so supposedly mystical/enchanting (the idea of fairy dust sparkling throughout)... wanting you to think their product the cause
for the wonderfulness... ;) If you didn't have the lactose issues, you

Who is selling fairy dust? I'm not familiar with
advertising that has that odd reliance.

might actually enjoy the Brown Cow yogurt we recently bought... whole
milk, and creamtop besides... :) I've not seen any ads for it, but

Stonyfield used to advertise itself as being the
yogurt with the cream on top. I didn't care much
    for it either.

then, I'm not watching TV, either... :)

So where'd you find the fairy dust and unicorn poops?

Malay food doesn't generally rely on top-end ingredients,
making it a good budget choice.
They do, though, have quality ingredients, so quality isn't
    compromised....

It until recently has been squarely in the third
world, and even poor people like to eat decently.

"This is your lucky day - poison in other cookie."
    Um....... ok... ;)
Nicholas used to claim he got that fortune once.
I guess anything's possible with fortune cookies... ;)

Another one he claimed to have gotten was "The person
opposite you is not going to pay the bill."

... Fortune cookie slip: Learn Chinese: expensive gui

Pronounced gway, not gooey. Otherwise, kind of funny.

    Kazhikutta (Kerala Coconut Dumplings)
    categories: dessert, not Malay
    yield: 1 batch

    4 Tb shredded unsweetened coconut
1 Tb sugar or jaggery (brown sugar)
    1/2 ts whole cumin seeds
    1/2 ts water
    1 c rice flour
3/4 c water or enough to form a dough

Mix first 4 ingredients in a bowl.

Form a dough from the rice flour and water.

When formed, coat your hand with extra flour to prevent
sticking, and take a ping-pong sized ball of dough and
flatten. Place a marble-sized amount of the coconut
mixture in the middle of the dough. Close the dough
around the coconut to form a ball. Roll in hand until
well formed. Repeatuntil all of the rice flour dough
is used. Steam the dumplings for 10 min.

Delicious for breakfast or with afternoon tea. It is a
specialty of Kerala, and in Malayalam it is called
    "kazhikutta."

This is distributed by Stonyfield... We used to get their creamtop
yogurt, but haven't seen it for a while... now this appeared... :)

    Previous TV watching....

And accurate, no doubt... ;) Back when we used to take a Motley Crew
(some of which were college students and/or poor) out for Sunday dinner
at Yang's, Richard got one that said "you are altruistic and will be
taken advantage of often", which he paraphrased as "you are a born
sucker and will be fleeced regularly"... :) To be fair, some of them
did kick in what they could... :)

Not knowing the pronunciation, it did tickle my funny bone... :)

    ttyl neb

... I could do that. I ain't gonna, but I could if I wanted to.
